The Stompers are many things but, first and foremost, we are Ordinary Men with Extraordinary Moves. It was a fun stompers that we thought would turn out great, and it did. Since their humble inception inthe Stompers have become a NOLA institution.

Brett Patron, and a small group of dance enthusiasts, conceived of the idea over cocktails, and even more cocktails. Expressing yourself and feeling absolutely free, even for even a brief moment, feels incredible. You know, the magic takes a lot of work.
Before the Stompers, all we had around town were 610 female dance groups. I think we stood out in a big way because it was a bunch of guys in dresses and then us — a marriage made in heaven. Part of our mission is to get ordinary men out on the dance floor.
Unfortunately, I am very allergic to animals, especially to cats and dogs. But there are a lot of animal lovers within the Stompers, many of whom adopted their pets from the SPCA. All male dance troupe based out of New Orleans! My children hound me all the time for pets.
[1] The female counterpart to the Stompers is the Splits. I think I might have even seen a beer belly on him! ️💙". Another dance group, the Pussyfooters, allowed us to dance at their charity event, but our first public performance was at the Buddy D parade.
At first we had to buy them from a warehouse in Texas that only had a few left, but in extra large and small, so we had to shove guys into them and then make adjustments. I think it helps you enjoy life a little bit more. And the Stompers uniform is pretty much recognized on almost an international level … We hope so!
Men from their 20s to their 80s now proudly call themselves Stompers, drawn from all walks of life and from across the. Gay seems like he has a real Stompers attitude! The Stompers uniform is a 70s-style look of white tank tops, headbands, tube socks, blue shorts, gold spray-painted sneakers, and a signature red bomber jacket.
Do the Stompers and other dance groups like the Dance Connection get along? [2] Their uniform consists of a tennis skirts, jackets, and visors.

It sounds like a fairy tale, but it’s the true story of the Stompers, New Orleans’s only all-male dance crew. The Stompers are New Orleans’ first all-male dance troop that was the brainchild, inof a group of Saints super fans that sat in section of the Superdome.
That was our goal. We have an all-female security force called the Splits.
